CPS policy states that your First Class e-mails will only be available to you for one year. This is mostly because of space issues. If you have important emails that you do not want to lose here is how you save them to your computer.
On your First Class desktop go to the mailbox.
Choose and highlight which messages you want to save. Ctrl & Right Click for individual messages or Shift & Right Click to choose many in a list at the same time. If you want to save entire folder's worth just click and highlight the folder.
At the top left hand corner click on the File menu heading Scroll down in the file menu and click on Export.
In this box choose where you want to save your emails. It defaults to your My Documents/Home Folder. I recommend creating a folder to save them in. Click Ok.
First Class will now export your e-mails. Depending on how large or how many e-mails you are saving this could take some time.
After it is finished you can see that each email has a folder. Inside are a series of files. The MS Word document that shares a title with your e-mails subject will contain the message.
